Find VI Business Directory

Privacy policy

What we collect

Listing information. Most listings on Find VI Business Directory come from public sources: chamber of commerce member directories, government business and license registries, and public map data. That can include a business name, island, address, phone number, website, and category. Where a registry lists a sole proprietor, the listing may carry that person's name.

Information you send us. If you add a business, claim a listing, request a premium plan, or use the contact form, we store what you type: name, email, phone number, business details, and any logo you upload.

Visit information. We use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or follow you across sites.

How we use it

To publish and maintain listings, review submissions and claims, answer messages, and follow up on premium requests. We do not sell personal information.

Who else handles it

Supabase stores our database and uploaded logos. Vercel hosts the site. When a page loads fonts or a map, Google (Google Fonts and Google Maps) receives your IP address, as any website you load would. Google Maps is covered by Google's own privacy policy.

The site does not ask for or use your device location.

Corrections and removal

If a listing about you or your business is wrong, or you want it removed, tell us on the contact page with the listing's address. We will fix or remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
